The Business Information Club or "BIC" as it is known was founded in 1971, to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, business information and specific leads for business within the Tucson area. The over thirty year success of the Club is testimony to the validity of that original purpose.
BIC meets every Tuesday morning for breakfast and fellowship. After breakfast, all members are asked to share some pertinent information about new business opportunities, businesses that are changing or moving, or prospects that may need the products or services of members of the Club. Our members hold specific classifications according to business or profession so that there are no competitors within the Club. Over 60% of our fifty plus members have been in BIC for ten years or more because of the many benefits.
Besides the sharing of business leads, BIC periodically invites experts to discuss important and relevant business topics. These special meetings allow members to keep up on current events that may have an effect on their own business success. On occasion, a member will lead a roundtable discussion on a subject such as marketing or A/R collections.
Members also get together socially, including twice a year when the Club sponsors a party or family outing, regular golf games and tournaments, and frequent gatherings for poker. All are means to encourage closer ties between members.
A new member must be sponsored by a current member.
